Dr. Irvin Hunt has been named a 2022-23 Helen Corley Petit Scholar for his extraordinary record of scholarship and teaching.  Each year, LAS selects up to seven recipients across the entire college.  Mrs. Helen Corley Petit, a deceased alumna of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, provided an endowment for the development of the scholarship and teaching of early career faculty members in the College.  For additional information, please see the LAS announcement at  https://las.illinois.edu/news/2022-06-06/college-las-announces-new-named-faculty-positions.
